EastEnders: Nancy Carter enters labour as siblings vanish from The Square

Nancy Carter will unexpectedly go into labour in a new EastEnders storyline that airs on BBC One starting Monday, November 9. The plot introduces a medical emergency for the Carter family while two key siblings are missing from the neighborhood.
The broadcast is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on the television channel, with the episode available to stream from 6:00 a.m. on iPlayer. The narrative builds on events from the previous month, when Nancy returned to the Square alongside her brother Lee.
Nancy revealed to her mother Linda Carter that she is carrying a surrogate child for Lee and his estranged girlfriend, Jess. The arrangement was complicated by Lee’s ongoing struggle with alcohol addiction. This week, Lee crashed an antenatal class at the Community Centre while intoxicated, straining his relationship with Nancy.
Next week, Lee returns to drinking while Linda is distracted by the return of Janine Butcher. Nancy’s waters break during this period of chaos. Linda subsequently learns a claim from Janine regarding the whereabouts of Mick Carter and prepares to inform the children of the news.
Before Linda can speak, Nancy, Lee, and Johnny disappear. Linda and her partner Max Branning begin a search for the missing family members. They locate Nancy first, prompting a private conversation between the mother and daughter.
While Linda continues the search for Lee, Nancy’s waters break again. Zack Hudson finds Nancy and recruits Johnny Carter and Elaine Peacock to assist in transporting her to the hospital. The group fails to reach Lee, who is found drunk at Harry’s Barn by Linda.
Lee confides in Linda about his fears of fatherhood, unaware that the baby is due soon. The episode leaves the question of whether the family will reach the hospital in time for the birth.
